Crackdown is great even without the Halo 3 beta

I played last night for 6 straight hours. i haven't done that with a game since Oblivion. I know it's going to be short but I judge a game by it's "Just 10 more minutes" or "Just one more.........". This game is like crack. So what if the missions are kinda lame. There is a LOT of other stuff to do. I recommend this game highly.denawayne

Does it play better than the demo? Cause I didnt like how your car could send all the other cars flying without taking damage. Reminded me too much of those Burnout games.

I totally agree with you. I have been online the entire time since I got the game. I just beat it last night through Co-Op Online and i am still enjoying the game. The downloadable skins are great as well.

In any other industry, that would be a straight marketing ploy for a substandard product.  Buy an awful car with bad gas mileage, ugly looks, no durability, AND GET A FREE VACUUM CLEANER WITH IT!!!

OK, I've played the game, and I'll admit I like it.  I've got my criticisms of Crackdown, but because it's fun and addictive, I'm actuallty a fan of it now.

I think it's funny how GS gave it a 7.8 yet it seems everybody likes it...

Now I have to say that after having it for a week that the game has lost some of it's appeal. Can't wait to see what they do with the second one. denawayne

I've finished all but 2 or 3 achievements, and I'll have this bad boy back on Blockbuster's shelf by Sunday.

Has anyone tried the race where you have to jump around the cars on the ferris wheel/big wheel? I tried to do it for about an hour last night and eventually gave up. It's one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.
