No, the highest-end computers are needed to play Crysis well with good graphics. The PS3 and Xbox 360 wouldn't be able to handle it. So, I really doubt it.
I played the demo for crysis on my mates PC. It was the most unbelievable shooter I have ever played, I can't afford 3000$ for a PC that will run the game flawlessly, and I don't see how the games could be half of what is graphically on ANY console atm. I guess I will have to miss this one...

most people say ps3 is just plain more powerfull then 360 yet ps3 has more performence issues and stuff has to come out later so i doubt it would more likely to come out on ps3
Crysis would definitely be able to be played on the PS3. No it would not have as much features as the PC like the level creator but it would def work. For the record I spent 2000 dollars on a PC that plays crysis on Very High settings with the 8800gt sli.
You can play crysis on the PC with a Xbox 360 controller which seems odd why they would not make it for the 360. Apparently they wont make it for the 360 because microsoft has not taken advantage of the HD DVD drive as sony has Blu-Ray built in all of their systems. You can store more memory on a Blu-Ray then on a regular Xbox 360 disc which is basically double layer DVD. Hence all the short games like Gears and Call of Duty 4.
Yes they will put it on the Ps3 soon so watch out Xbox. Oh and Crysis has the best graphics I have EVER seen in my life and the Physics/Mechanics are truly next-gen.
crysis is awesome on my pc i spent 1000 dollars upgrading it last year so i could play it and it awesome but if it's on ps3 it's gonna have bad frame rates less detail and many things wrong.
What are you talking about, of course both PS3 and 360 can handle Crysis with great graphics. Oh, and isn't Crysis already on the 360? I don't even know. What are you talking about it having to be downgrade on the PS3, the Blu-Ray has 50gig of memory on it, it'd have way more features than you'd think, no downgrade needed.and you're just saying that the PS3 would have crappy framerate and more issues because you like the 360 more or you're a fanboy.

The developers alwready said Crysis cannot be ported to either console because they lack the amount of RAM needed to run the game. Consoles may get something similar to Crysis but it will be a downgraded game specifically made for the consoles and not Crysis itself.
Ps3 could never handle Crysis at its full potential. If were to come out you would have a watered down version of it. No thats one of those games that will be PC only, Im afraid.
Hahahah @ this rumor. An Xbox 360 or PS3 is incapable of running Crysis, they are simply not powerful enough. Think about it, it's like trying to run Battlefield 2 on a computer from 1999. On a side note, I could not be happier playing Crysis on PC. Best Investment I have ever made.

Build your own PC for like $1200. Problem solved. (Never buy prebuilt computers, they rip you off so much!)
the consoles lack ram, and theoredically 360 is more powerful than the PS3 in like 65% of the benchmarks done, but a $1000 pc or more can easily run crysis on high with framerates above 30 95% of the time
