I downloaded the dbz: burst limit demo on XBL an hour ago and it seems like the makers of this game have been living up to their words. So far this game is awesome, even though I've just played only 2 matches. I can't wait for its launch this summer. Any played the demo yet?

I thought it was great and alot faster than the older games, but they are using the same marketing scheme as last generation.

According to what I've just experience, what ever they're doing seems to be working.

Yea it was so great that I could beat the whole demo by pushing toward the enemy and hitting the X button the whole time... The cut scenes where cheesy as hell. The only cool thing was how unique the graphics looked, otherwise its utter garbage.

I stopped playing them after Budokai 3, but decided to check this out and it's actually not that bad. A lot of intense moves and it seems like they changed up a few things too.

Unknown I respect yur opinion. But the way you fight has more to it then just pressing X. Your statement is like saying you could beat any fighting game by just pressing the punching button or whatever. Any dbz fan will love this game.

Exactly. I actually found a lot mor enjoyment trying to do combos because well..... they looked cool (mainly because of the speed of the fighting). I do miss DBZ, but this game makes me wish they made a new DBZ show (with these graphics because i think they match the show amazingly well) . Now only if they could make a good Gundam game.

Definitely a lot more game-play strategy than the past few games, I played the demo for a little over 2 hours last night lol.

Only if they gave us a little taste of the online game-play, but we can't have everything at once can we? hehe

I am a die-hard DBZ fan, and most of the other games weren't that great, but after playing the Burst Limit demo, I want the game so bad. It's so fast paced and the moves actually resemble the show. This game is living up to the developers words and I can't wait to play it.:D

I've never played any of the games but when I was a kid I used to love watching Dragon Ball.

Downloaded the demo because I was curious and was pleasantly suprised. The buttons were simply (2 attack buttons, 1 projectile button, block), but it was decefively complex. When I threw a fireball at the AI, it teleported behind me and ping-ponged me back and forth, just like in the cartoon. Very cool. I learne dhow to do the same, so I kept doing it to the AI, who in turn countered my counters. At one point, I knocked the AI into a hill side, which crumbled into a pile of rubble in a cinematic sort of way. Another homage to the cartoon series.

I just kept playing and playing it until I got really good at it. The cut-scene massive attacks you can do was very cool. Overall I never knew how fun these DBZ games were until now, and I can see why it sells. I would be tempted to get it, but Battlefield Bad Company, Brother in Arms, and Soul Calibur come soon and I'm anticipating those. Either way, DBZ seemed pretty cool. Better than what I had concieved of all this time.

The DBZ demo was weak. I'll just wait for Soul Calibur IV.

It was a lot better than I thought it would be. The combat seems pretty fun and really lives up to the style of the show.
