there are minor issues with each, but really, both are pretty sick in my mind.

the save system in Dead Rising is a bit rough and can be a turn off, but just pop a shower head into a zombie's head and watch the blood shower and you'll forget all about the problems.

I loved Crackdown too. very good gameplay, tight all around. no story what so ever leads to little variety in missions. it's basically just run/drive/jump around the city and kill all the gang bosses. But the physics in this game are AWESOME! not many games out there are gonna give you vertigo when you jump off a highrise building. not to mention co-op is fantastic. nothing like shooting you're buddy with a rocket over and over and watch his doll-like body spin in the air.

both have good replay imo. don't think you can go wrong.... and yes, thats a good price, don't worry about that

First off, 20 bucks is a great deal for dead rising. Crackdown is a great game single player and co-op(think gta with superpowers). Yet dead rising gets my vote because killing zombies was never so fun before this game. It depends on what you want, both have a free roam and sandbox feel to them but unless you really like the gta games Crackdown is nothing new and Dead Rising is an intresting take on the sandbox genre.
