ok so I was playing cod4 last week on search and destroy where there was this kid called Killer X Austin. now when i filled him with a whole clip of my mp5 and he didnt die i thought crappy lag and carried on. then in the next round when i shot him 4 times with my m4083 sniper rifle and the juggernaught sign came up every time i was a bit confused as to why he didnt die. Then on the next round when i sneaked up behind him shot all my pistol bullets into the back of his head then knifed him and he still didnt die ( he then turned round , knifed me and killed me) I knew he was hacking. the next game he was on my team and i had died so i watched him and he was letting people empty a clip on him while he just stood there then he was killing them. He didnt die once in about 8 games I played until i got pissed off and left. Now i checked last night if he was still playing ( he sent me a message so i am able to check his profile) and he was. why hasnt he been banned?
Well hopefully they get this new patch out to help eliminate hackers and cheaters but we all know people will find ways around it, they always have.....sadly the best thing i can say is give negative feedback and avoid for now.....srry to hear about that mate, i have had a few bad run'ins myself.
ya people have god mode now......its @#%@# annoying!!! my whole team yelled at this kid on our team and we all filled complaints against him for 2 games straight hahaha only losers cheat.
What I don't get is why they do it, all they get is a false sense of accomplishment. How fun could it be running around being untouchable? Or the people with modded controllers, do they really think they are that good?
They probably think it's a real sense of accomplishment. To find out how fun God mode is, try it on a game. It's fun for all of 30 seconds and then it gets very boring.
I don't know about you guys, but I think doing 'headshots' in 1vs1 is almost as bad as this. Cheating to reach level 55 is not much more honorable than using god mode... And there's a million players doing it: people keep asking me if I want to do 'headshots', they get pissed when I say no and they leave. It's a lame cheating world.

Oh my brother does that, eeurrggghhhh it gets on my nerves, and he ALWAYS does it. Then he denies that he would be a MUCH lower rank if it weren't for the Cage Match matches. He thinks his rank would only decrease by about 5, but with the amount of time he spends doing it it would decrease by at LEAST 20.
Goddamnit, Infinity Ward should just stop the damn Cage Matches.
Ok i see it your way cheating kinda ruins it for the opposing team. BUT..... what if your like me you have done everything that is possible to do and you can pretty much win everytime if you care enough. I don't hack i dont cheat but i do see how it could and would be fun for them. I mean come on if you know every glitch have every gold gun and you are good enough to hold your own almost every match y cant you go down that final frontier and maybe hack or mod? In my mind its like a vacation that they earned.
Yeh I've bumped into a couple of people hacking God mode etc. And although I was annoyed at first, it got so ridiculous it was plain hillarious after a while, still having said that I don't support hacking in any way. I imagine the devs are working on a patch to prevent players from hacking the game.

Its a strategy. I use it very now and then, jump and go prone. Works sometimes, but I still die. And I still see peopl do this, and they live through doing it..
