ok i have a problem, and i think i know what to do, but i wanted some input. I had a gamertag that i decided to delete, now when i deleted it, i kept the game files in hopes of transfering them to a new profile/gamertag, but i cant. So i think i need to transfer them over to another memory device then back again, but i wanted to know if theres another option or if that wont work. Hopefully someone else has been through this so please let me know what you think
Game saves are usually tied to your gamertag (as it says in your Memory) and cannot be used by other gamertags (to prevent people getting others' achievements). You should of paid 800points to change your gamertag.
well i had numerous reasons, one, i didnt find it a huge deal if i had to start over. i was notgoing to pay to change the username, and i had deleted my windows live email so it was causing issues and xbox wouldnt let me change it, so hense why i said screw you, im getting a new gamertag. but oh well i was hoping for something. I dont really care about starting over so no loss.
