Demos That Convinced You Too Buy The Game?

What Are Games that you had low expectations for but, the demo for it complelty changed your mind for me it would be Left 4 Dead, I knew coming from valve this game was going to be good but, i thought it was going to way to short and i pretty much decided aganist buying it but, i downloaded the demo and after playing the same 2 levels 20+ times and it still stayed fresh its compeltly made me want to buy the game

Mirror's Edge almost sold me but hearing about how short it is scared me off until the price goes down. kfjl

Same. I'll be waiting for a price drop. I also plan on picking up DiRT based on what I played from the demo, but I still haven't seen the game at a reasonable price yet. 

Battlefield: Bad Company, Dirt, Devil May Cry 4 & Shadowrun to name a couple off the top of my head, I tried Mirror's Edge and that was nuts but i'm going to wait for it though, also I have to try Left 4 Deadso many people are loving that game right now.

I can't think of a demo that convinced me to buy a game. I really enjoyed the Left4Dead demo but I don't think I'll be picking it up.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed.

Big Mistake.  

Saints Row, Crackdown, and Left 4 Dead.  I'm going to pick up Left 4 Dead right now.

None, actually, I don't like demos.

Gotta be Mirror's Edge, I haven't bought it yet, but the demo makes me want to buy it.

Made me buy skake and DMC4, both of which I sold, Virtua Tennis 3, and the VP demo made me buy VP:TIP.

Demos of COD:WaW, Condemned2, Mirror's Edge, Left 4 Dead made me NOT buy the game that I would have if a demo wasn't released.

Mirro'rs Edge demo did a great job convincing me to buy the game. Which I did and even though the campaign was great the replay value turned out not to be so good imo. I'm talking about the time trails and speed runs, racing leaderboard ghosts and going for 3 stars even though is great, just after some time turned out to feel like a chore to me. I don't know how many times I can go running through the same level for achievements. Anyways I will be trading it in for CoD:WaW, loved the beta for that one and I'll probably keep it around due to it's multiplayer.8)

Crackdown-the demo was a bunch of fun. And the game was too, for a few days.

Skate- I played the demo with my friends more times than i can remember.

Bioshock-I was a skeptic on the game, it gave me the vibe that i wouldn't enjoy it. Then i played the demo, and it went to the top of my list for must have games.
