Of course it does, for some games text is only properly readable on HD.

The difference between SD and HD is quite significant, though the difference between 720p and say 1080i or even 1080p is minimal.

of course, it makes a difference no matter what screen size it is if its hd. basically its like playing games on your pc. if you play in sdtv then its no where near as sharp and as detailed and some games you will struggle to read the small text. if you play on hd then you will have no problem reading anything and the graphics will look sharp and detailed and you will wonder why you even thought ya normal tv was good. dont get me wrong its great on a sdtv. and if ya cant use hd then dont let it stop ya buying a xbox coz its still great. but once u see it in hd mate ya wont want to go back. i play on a 22" screen and its great.

I play on a 19" HD and I easily prefer it over the 32" SD I used to play on. Its such a difference in picture quality size doesn't matter.

I have a 26" Toshiba HDTV and it's awesome. The detail is incredible compared to SDTV. Definitely worth it.

The new Premiums come with HDMI cables, as do the Elites.

HDMI cables are only worth bothering with if you have a 1080p-capable HDTV that will not accept 1080p signals over component (which is most of them). Other than that, they're not worth the money.

Yep. I use 26" standard and I always get frustrated when I'm trying to read small text. Gotta upgrade!
