Devil May Cry 4 .....

Just rented this yesterday. Disc looks in fine condition.

Been playing on human up till level 4, everything has been perfect no glitches or freezes. Then as soon as i go to open the door to go to the arena i get the disc unreadable error.....

Really pi**ed me off to be honest. Ive cleaned the disc and reloaded about 4 times. Still nothing.

Any help would be good. Is there a patch for it? If so would that help or not?

I owned it and played over 40 hours and never any problems so Id say its the disk.CorporateHammer

Same here. I don't think there are any patches for this game either. You have a defective disk you should take it back and tell them so they can give you a new disk and make sure to get that one fixed so no one else has this problem.

Patch? Sounds like the problem is with your disc.

I've been through DMC4 like 6 times now, never hit a glitch/bug.

I've never had any problems with the game crashing or glitching.

Have you tried other games to make sure that it isn't the system?

If you have, and you still believe it's the disc, just go exchange the disc. Depending on where you rented it from, it shouldn't be a problem. Most rental places will gladly switch the disc for another one (if they have it in) as it is easier than doing a fulfledged exchange/defective in the system.

I'd say it is the disc.

Went and got another copy today. But the exact same thing happened in the exact same place.

Is my console dying? Anyone else had this problem?
