Being a hardcore DMC fan, im not sure on this one, I dont like the fact you can spin the camera around, ive always been used to a fixed camera, hell, call me picky I dont care.
Also, 2 weapons? I liked the huge combos you could pull off by changing your weapons over and over, I dont like upgrades to old weapons, I want new ones that I can change at my own free will.

I have yet to play a DMC game. Hopefully this will be the first. From previews and trailers, it looks very promising. I predict 9.0 rating. I have my reasons. :)
How can you say that? One was decent, Two almost destroyed the series and three was good but not very replayable. To be honest I'm a little skeptical of 3 as the demo wasn't very impressive IMO. I am gonna have to go with decent (7.5 review is my guess).
The thing is so far two out of three DMC games have been huge hits. And people unfamiliar with the series who play this demo wouldn't be able to tell how much depth the gameplay has. They see the demo and point out repetitive gameplay with few combos, easy difficulty, all that other jazz and they just don't see the big picture from a dumbed down 10 minute demo. DMC3 Dante's Awakening got an 8.6 here at GameSpot in quite possibly one of the best reviews before everything just started to go downhill. Its very in-depth and pretty much describes every nuance to the gameplay. If you never played a DMC and thought the demo was terrible check out the review for DMC3 here and see where DMC4 is coming from.

I dont see to much depth in DMC4. I own all 3 of the other ones, beaten them all and everything. DMC there isnt depth it IS the same repetative stuff over and over. Sure you can pull off some cool looking combos, but it just gets old after awhile. I liked DMC3 the best so far and from what im seeing from DMC4 they didnt change to much.
I agree, I dont see any depth in the game. Just some cool, repetitive, but fun hack 'n slash combined with combos, while fighting badass bosses, sorta type fun.
it's a great game...perhaps superb for long time fans like me i think it will score and overall of between an 8 and 9 great game...MUST BUYfiercedeity901
