Did metro 2033 fail?

I don't much about this game on the boards anywhere. Does this mean that not many people bothered to buy it?

I just find it odd. I'm about half way through the game (i guess) and so far, i'd rate this as one of the best FPS games i've played.

No. no failure at all. I got to play it for a bit and loved it, can't wait to buy it.

not got it yet, had to save my money for splinter cell conviction, and red dead redemption, but this game is next in line after both of those, it looks really interesting, kinda like a russian bioshock?

Definitely not. I feel that here isn't the best place to look for people talking. It's mentioned pretty commonly on the PC forum.

I thought it was ok. Not incredible but it was good and I'm glad I got to play it. Also glad I only borrowed it as well since the replay value is pretty low imo. :P

I really enjoyed it, it had a great story/voice acting, shooting controls were weird but got used to them. I'd give it like a 8.0-8.5 definitely a games you guys should play.
