Well I was playing CoD4 and all of a sudden my entire screen went crazy and I got crazy black vertical lines all over and then I shut the 360 off so that I could un plugg everything and plug them back in... after I did I got 3 red rings but they weren't all bright, one of them was bright and the other 2 were very faint... I turned it off and on again and I got the same results, but after turning it on and off again my xbox turned on but the screen was still all messed up.... so is she dieing?

Yep, take it back, mention the Red Rings Of Death, and they will either send it away to Microsoft for repair, or give you a whole new one, no questions asked.
Ya I got a Best Buy warranty... and I just checked the code on my xbox and you were absolutely right i's a GPU error... didn't think that was very common with the elites... thanks for the information guys
