DiRt demo is out now

How does a thread about Dirt end up being a thread about Forza 2?  I'm here at work, my computer was messed last night and I completely forgot about downloading the Dirt demo on my 360, so I was looking for impressions on the game :(  I'll have to wait for tonight I guess.

I still don't know what to get it for... 360 or PC?  But so far I like what I'm hearing.

I didnt like the Forza 2 demo, not that i am not good at it but it just doesnt feel that great to play simulations IMO, i find games like Collin McRae and PGR3 and NFS more fun but thats my opinion and the game demo is great if you like racing a definet winner in my eyes.

Plus Forza 2 makes my eyes bleed U_U

And i understand why that guy says you turn at 20mph but he just exajerated it, when you turn in Forza 2 its great if you know what your doing just not to fast and brake with the trigger not the A button, plus forza 2 grass seems slap my car around.

Who gives a crap?  This thread was supposed to be about Dirt, not about Forza.  If everyone wants to discuss Forza then go to a Forza thread (other than just plain comparisons).  No need to sit here and trash talk anyone who didn't like the Forza demo, that should be somewhere else, so go away. 

1. theres a pad lock next to the game when i down load it but its downloading (I HAVE XBOX LIVE GOLD)
2. its just stuck on 3% or is it downloading slow

Arcade like you say. Sounds good, I'm not that good at simulation racing games like Forza. Thats why I like Burnout so much.:D

Im downloading it now. Hope its good.

Same here......racing sims are a little to boring for me. In the Forza 2 demo if you nip the grass at 50 mph you start losing control of your car.

It helps to possibly read through the threads before you start making accusations of the thread jackers. Oops...  :shock:

Thats good to here for me because realistic games suck, whats so exciting about going around turns at 20 mph.

It's fun after you learn how to do it. Because if you go in turns at 20 mph, you obviously can't race. 

Actually Racing Sims need to get a little better at actually showing the right speed. I mean i have been in Gran Tourismo 4 and have taken turns at 60 mph (feels more like 15 mph), but i don't hit the walls. That 60 mph is actually how fast it wants me to take it (because it gives an indicator of which gear you should be in and when i am in that gear it is ruffly 60 mph). Now i have taken turns at 30 mph in real life (90 degree turns too) and have ran into ditches. Now they are trying to tell my that i can make2 90 degree turns going 60 and not hit a wall.... Oh yea thats realistic.

Now i do notice that your car feels like it is going 20 mph while taking the turns, but it SAYS more than that almost all the time.
