Dirt Graphics impressions.

I dont even know how a lion got into the neighborhood!

But when I saw DIRT'S graphics I nearly **** my **** pants.

DiRTs graphics is what I expected out of Forza 2. Microsoft claims Forza 2 was built from the ground up but I really don't understand why it came out the way it did. I mean, I understand it's heavy on physics in all but the demo didn't have that next gen look to it.   

Does anyone know how the wireless racing wheel integration is in dirt?

 I know it's supposed to be amazing for pgr3/forza2...

Get with the times, nobody wants to play games with ps2 graphics anymore.

Dang, people are such graphic whores nowadays.  Yes, Dirt looks fantastic graphically, but it plays like a lame duck IMO.  Yes, Forza2 does not have mind-blowing graphics, (although they still look pretty damned great on my TV), but I'll take the awesome gameplay of Forza over great graphics any day of the week.  Just my opinion.ColoradoKindBud

Well maybe you need a decent TV then because Forza 2 looks pretty damned good on my 46in Sony Grand Wega LCD with 1080p.  And again, it's impossible for me to take anything you say seriously when you try & claim that Forza 2 has PS2 quality graphics.

they werent that bad, they may have been lack lustre but i dont think comparing it 2 ps2 is fair

look at me with my 46in sony lcd. who cares. if the game play is sooo good then why when u crash the car the handling doesn't change or the car lose wheels etc.

Um, probably because the demo does not have the crash-based physics & damage turned on.  It's already been confirmed that the full game has crashes, real-time damage that will affect your driving & even make you stop the race completely if you toast you car too much.

You can lose entire pieces of your vehicle on the road & they will still be there the next time around the track & can mess up your tires if you run over them, (watch the user submitted gameplay vids here on GS to see it in action).  Not to mention that tire heat, friction & wear is being calculated every second as you actually race.  So yet again, you don't really seem to know much about the game that you are slamming.
