disc scratch problem

I recently got guitar hero world tour and my xbox made a big circle scratch on it ): does anyone know how to fix the disc or the cause of the problem?

easy fix. get a ps3 and you will never get a scratch but also be aware of whats to come my cousin has a 360 and his does the same thing now it doesnt even read any game you put in.

The scratches are caused by moving the Xbox 360 while the disc is spinning in the drive. The discs from this problem are usually unplayable from now on, unfortunately.

In the future, never move your 360 while a disc is spinning. Some reccomend taking a disc out entirely before moving your console, as the disc may slide out and get stuck inside the system. I have not adopted this technique yet, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't! Good luck finding a replacement disc or getting your copy to work!

moving my xbox while the disc played caused a ring around the outer part of the disc. i fixed it by rubbing that film like substance off and it works now.
