Personally I buy a lot of games that are single player. Online multiplayer is ok I suppose, but once the community dies down what do you have left if the game doesn't have a good single player mode? As for games, RPG's don't need online, as well as puzzle games... high score lists don't interest me much anyhow. Bioshock is a great game I bought knowing full well it didn't have multiplayer.
Single player is much more important to me when picking a game than what the online is like.Avenger1324
Considering out of the 16 360 games and the 4 Xbox games I've bought since getting a 360, I've only played 5 of them online (only one of which I actually purchased for it), I'd say yes. I like multiplayer, but I am perfectly content with having only one or twomultiplayer gamesand then just playing those for years. What I prefer are great gameplay and an engrossing story/characters. I like my variety of single player games.
