Do you find halo 3 on heroic hard??

yeah so i just bought halo 3 yesturday, i thought i could play it heroic coz im pretty good at shooters, seriously i died like 10 times at the start of the game. i tried mulitiplayer afterwards, i lost 1 out of four matches.

got some tips for me for the sigle player? the life bar goes way too quick

legendary was pretty difficult though

Heroic on Halo 3 seemed pretty equivalent to 'normal' on most games. Not too easy, not too hard.

This your first Halo game? You might just need to get acquainted with how to use the guns more efficiently(needlers for Brutes, plasmas to take down Elite shields, etc).

don't start on heroic, it wrecks the hole experience tbh. Play it through on easy so you can get a hang of it. I soloed it heroic pretty easily, but that was after i played it everyday for a year or so, and because my internet was out for like 4 days so i had nothing better to do :P

As for tips:

1. Try to use the battlerifle, get a handle on it. it's one of the better weapons in the game but it's still in the 'low class' so you'll find it alot

2. use grenades and cover effectivly. The cover system in halo is really important because your shields are your life lines. Duck behind objects and wait for enemies to come to you, than unload on them when they come around the corner. also known as LoS pulling, the LoS standing for line of sight.

3. Know what cover is good cover. This will make you rage 1000 times on heroic/legendary, or it could just be because last time i played it was with the grenade skull (d'ont worry about skulls now, if your still new to the game). But grenades destroy you on higher difficulties. And some times if you duck behind objects you simply get sprayed by 5+ grenades and you really have no chance. Try to find cover that either has really high walls, or a roof above you, this works quite effectivly with #2.

4. Find team mates/friends to play with. Halo is redicously easier with a teamate, a good strategy with a teamate is for one to stay back in safety while the other runs in guns ablazin, if (when) the person dies he will instantly respawn ,ready for another zerg.

By myself i had some trouble, but i still managed. with my brother who is really bad at halo it still made it a crap ton easier

Only chapter that gave me so much trouble on Heroic and Legendary was Chapter 8.

stop running in guns blazing. take your time and get your sheilds up man. also learn to work the battle rifle.
