Next month I wanted Left 4 Dead 2 and Dragon Age: Origins but, due to Black Friday I am not going to purchase Left 4 Dead 2 right away.My current budget for Black Friday is $250 and I'm hoping to get more money. Do you have a limit on the games you are buying until then?

A: That's why you push and shove right back and make your way through. It's what I do

C: Keep running and never stop punching, you'll survive.

alot of Black Friday shopping can be done online now, you just have to be awake for it. But yeah I plan on holding off on things like AC2 and NSMB Wii until Black Friday weekend where I can get free and discounted stuff with purchases.

C: I was thinking of doing a bit of both online and in store shopping. It will all depend on what the sales are.

I do my black friday shopping for myself. While the rest of the fools are at wal mart brawling I go to the mall and do my clothes shopping for the year, and I get crazy deals. I went to Wal Mart 15 minutes after they opened last year, saw that EVERYTHING on the black friday ad was totally sold out; digital photo frames, madden 09, etc, and went straight to the mall. It's just not worth that. If anywhere has something that I totally need (I can't even think of anything), I may try to go earlier. Most likely I will buy more clothes.

These games coming out this year have been over rated and suck for the most part as far as I'm concerned. So usually I may have to cut back but I really only plan on getting Assassin's Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, and MAYBE New Mario Brothers Wii at some point so no biggie. Borderlands, Saw, DJ Hero, Left For Dead 2, no thanks, just not feeling it.

thats the whole black friday experience, sleeping/camping out in front of retail stores to grab the goods for cheap... I'm going to try and snatch up an HDTV and laptop on black friday... L4D 2, MW2, and Episodes of Liberty City are the only games I'll be playing this holiday season, so all I need is the equipment to enchance my gaming experience.

the friday after thanksgiving.

If you're looking to get an HDTV, cpu, laptop, games, anything. Thats the time to do it. Parents/Shoppers go CRAZY on that day because major stores(Best Buy, Macy's, etc.) have sales that morning, but ONLY that morning(usually between 5am to 11am). So people sleep/camp the night(or two nights) before Black Friday to get deals on presents for Christmas. It's spread to online as well, IIRC.

Black Friday is a joke and not hardly worth the trouble. Stand in line for hours and fight the crowds for what...discounts on third rate brands on electronics, and bargin bins full of crap third party games nobody wants.I have taken advantage of the buy two games, get one free offers from Toys R Us and Best Buy and i have saved about $180 on games. I am done buying games for the rest of the year.....save COD:MW2.

True...Black Friday is a day where big companies rip people off because they dont know a samsung tv from a cheap knock-off crappy brand....and the deals on Black Friday can be had throughout the year if people actually SHOPPED and looked online for deals.... Its sad how people will stay in line for hours and hours on end, to end up saving what, $50-$100?? Is it worth it to be in line for 5-10 hours to save that little amount? My time is worth alot more than that, thank you very much Like some have said, do your black friday shopping online from the convenience of your home, dont fall into this Hype train everyone loves to jump on

A: I saved alot more than $50-$100 last year. I also, didn't have to stand in line for 5-10 hours. It all depends where you shop at. I stood in line maybe a half hour to get all the games I got and they were really cheap. I got 3 brand new games for the price of one $60 game. So, to me it is worth saving the money you do save. By the way, I'm not going to the stores if there are better deals online. I just have to check and see what will be cheaper when the time comes.

A: It all depends where you shop. Like Walmart I refuse to go there. I bought a pile of games last year for me and my fiance at the mall and I saved 200+ dollars. The crowds aren't that bad. I only had to stand in line for maybe a half hour-forty minutes.

if I get enough cash, I'll cancel my pre-order for Modern Warfare 2 at Gamestop and just buy it at a discount at another store.

Yep thats why its going to be even crazier out there this year than years past. Oh and Videodogg and deadly_shuriken, it just sounds like the area you live in has sucky deals. Last year for example I got the 360 bundle, which came with a gift card and a free XBL card. I used the Gift card to get two games one of them being Gears of War 2 at a discounted price, which also came with another gift card. I got a DS3 for for 20 bucks and some other stuff. Now as I check those things out, none of them are knock offs and with that deal above in the end I got fives games for less than the price you paid to get your 3 from Best Buy. Where I live all brands are on sale and 100 bucks off the TV may sound like nothing, but thats two or three games on Black Friday, No matter how much you shop around, you cant beat the black Friday deals.

No limit. It just comes down to how much I really want to spend on games. For this years black friday I'm probably ganna pick NSMB for Wii and DJ Hero for the 360.

Purchasing L4D2, AC2 and MW2 on release day. :P

We don't have black friday in romania but have heard much about it so far. But I do most of my shopping online anyway and sometimes from websites in other countries like the UK where I usually get cheaper things than in romania.
