Nah, I don't. It's just going to be an upgrade on the CoD4 formula. But, Infinity Ward is too busy with the "LOL! WE ARE INFINITY WARD! COD4 WAS G8TEST EVUR! THIS BE GUD TOO! BUY FOR 150$ !!!" bit to pull of a second truly awe inspiring game. It wont suck, but I don't think it will have the impact the first did. CoD4 wasn['t seriously expected to rock everyone who played it. However, we ARE expecting it from CoD:MW2. As they say, the higher the expectations, the harder the disappointment will hit.

Killzone 2 isn't the best fps.Yeah even people with PS3s agreed with you on that one. Modern warfare 2 will no doubt be good, but I want Bad Company 2.

IMO Killzone 2 was the best FPS of the year, but its probably gonna be beaten out by at least 3 other games by years end. Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, and maybe ODST.
nope. i had high expectations for the first modern warfare and it ended up being a big let down for me. its a solid game but i thought they'd really change things up, and not just re-skin everything. the only big changes they made was the leveling system they put in and the perks and upgrades you can add to your weapons. so this year im keeping my expectations very low, and not expecting much to change from the last game.

Maybe ODST lol? I am not even a fanboy, nor am I buying ODST... But ODST will sell more copies on day one than Killzone 2 has sold since February.

I really dont have HIGH expectations. If it is just as good as COD4 with some upgrades, I won't be disappointed. I have full faith in IW and I think they are putting together something that I will really enjoy.
Question is kind of tricky. Each person will have their own expectations. You'd really have to define what you mean by 'very high expectations'.
I mean, I have very high expectations, but I think they are realistic. I dont expect some ground-breaking experience, I just expect a very fun, polished game. And I have trust that Infinity Ward will deliver.
I expect it to be like Call of Duty 4. You could say thats not too high since I don't expect it to be much better if at all. You could say thats high since I though Call of Duty 4 was a pretty good game. Take your pick.

Yeah, exactly. It's won't really be a 'new' game so to speak. Just improvements upon what already exists.
No not really, because judging by its name and the gameplay videos we've seen, it doesn't seem like a full blown sequel at all. I mean look at what they did with Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It wasn't bad, but it was so similar to the first one it wasn't even funny. It's not the same leap as COD 2 to COD 4 was. It's more like Call of Duty 4.5.
I have no expectations. I know I'll think of it as the worst game this year.

i'm not trolling. I'm answering the question. I think that Call of Duty 4 is the worst game in the past 10 years, Call of Duty 2, 3 , and 5 come close behind. So, I know I'll find CoD: MW2 will be horrible as well.
I expect a really good campaign, hopefully it fullfills that much. I think the multiplayer will be very similar tho. I hope for some little upgrades and tweaks from the first tho.
Not at all. I haven't gotten high hopes for a game in awhile. I find that if you do such things you end up being dissapointed no matter what the game has to offer. Even if its the game of the year setting high hopes will almost always leave you with dissapointed feelings. Although I do tend to get excited for a game before its about to release.
