i think you might not have changed the settings on your xbox
change to either 720 or 1080 depending on you tele you should see the picture then
If u do not see much difference i am pretty sure you are doing something wrong
yzou should check:
1 - Switch on Xbox 360 component cable that goes to the tv.There is a switch on that cablee (Look where the cable is connected to the 360) Make sure it is set to HDTV and not SDTV
2 - xbox Settings - On the blade for the settings check that the resolution is set properly for your tv
I do not think someone with eyes can not notice a HUGE difference between standard and HD.
I actually find huge the difference between 480p and 720 P as well
Hope this helps
No i've set up everything right I know and it's on 720p
The movie trailors look amazing on it but games look alright but I suppose the games I play at the moment don't have amazing graphics
And my HDTV is only 26 inch should I be able to see the difference still?
No. Not really.
But if you play NFS Carbon on a standard TV, I noticed that the framerate was smoother than on an HD TV.
I dont know about other games.

Frame rates should be smoother when in SD because the 360 has less work to do. The higher you set the resolution, the more work the 360 is doin. A scarifice for the better graphics.
screen is too small to really tell the difference...No i've set up everything right I know and it's on 720p

I recently upgraded from a POS 27" CRT television to a 40" 1080p Samsung LCD and the difference is staggering.
If you can't see the difference, either your TV isn't good enough or it's not configured properly. Chances are good that it's the latter, as even a lower end 720p display should run circles around a 480i CRT junker.
it'z a huge huge diffrence man. i mean the game looks crisp, the detail in the surrounding are better and the gameplay is more intense when u play in hd ...unlike std. if u dun't see the diff. then check to see if ur component is set to hdtv not t.v lol. ps2forever:lol: Yeah, cuz everyone knows HDTV's intensify gameplay. SDTV gameplay is so worse than HDTV gameplay

I sit really close and to be fair I dunno I have been watching trailors and they seem to be alright not amazing and it's an LCD but I guess in Gears I did kinda notice but the only thing wrong is the settings, if someone would help me with those, like brightness and colour and thatgta_kid1
