Do you? I do. For example, I purchased Burnout Revenge almost a year ago. I cleared the game and played online. But just a little while back I sold it to get ready for Burnout 5. Once I have Burnout 5, I have no need for Revenge anymore. So why should I keep it?

I rarely buy any games I regret of buying and then return them. Only one I can remember was COD3. But for the most part, I usually sell games if I don't play them anymore after a year or so.

How about you?

As long as they are still worth a decent amount I will trade it back.  I wont bother trading a game for $7.00 though.

I used to always trade in my games before. I finally have come to the realization that it's really not worth it to get $10-20 for a game that I paid $60 for not too long ago. I just wish that I had realized this a long time ago, I'd still have a lot of classics for the older systems.

I am a collector so I never sell games and rarely buy used ones (unless I absolutely cannot find them new).

At this point you've probably tossed away a thousand dollars or so. If you buy a game for $60 and sell it back at $30 and buy another $60 game would have spent $90 dollars of your own money for 1 game. Is that one game worth $90? If you do this again your up to having 1 game worth $120. Get the idea?

I only trade in my games to gamestop when I just need room,Example moving into a new apartment soon so will not have much space so got ride of my ps2 and library so my 360 and tv is all I need to worry about on that end. Though usually the best way is to sell to friends for 30-40$ each depending on how old it is.Sold my co worker gears for 40$ better then gamestop.

I sell games on a regular basis.  Either sell on Ebay or trade-in at Estarland.com.  If I no longer play the game anymore there is no reason for me to own it.  Most of the time I make money off the games I sell though, because I normally buy the games off Ebay and when I bored of them I re-sell them back on Ebay.  For example I was told Marvel Ultimate Alliance was very fun to play and since it had CO-OP I picked it up for $25.00 off Ebay.  Well, I played through 3 or 4 stages, but it totally wasn't my type of game and I just sold it for $38.00.

I trade ALL my games. I find very little use for a game once I have finished it. I rarely play online as it is a hive of filth and immaturity most days, and tends to be more annoying than enjoyable. Personally I wait for trade in deals. Every couple months EB offers an extra $10 if you trade 3 games, 20 if you trade 5 and 50 if you trade 10. This makes it worth while for me at least. Heck it is how I managed to get a 360 and 6 games, a Wii and 1 game, and a PS3 and 1 game all for trade in value, no money out of pocket. It is quite lucrative if you play the deals. Another great deal ATM is trade 3 games worth $8 or more and get God of War 2 free. Not bad if you have some older titles you want to get rid of. You can also get Lost Planet used for $10 if you trade in Gears of War. that is a fan-fricken-tastic savings.

Nope. If I think I will sell the game, I will save myself the money, and just rent it. I have only rented 2 games though.

Yeah, but you are assuming you got no value for the original game. Really what you are looking at is spending 90 bucks for 2 games., 120 for 3, etc.

I mainyl trade in games.  Either ones I have beaten or simply lost interest in.  I usually will only do it if there is a game coming out that I really want, but don't have enough cash for.  If I can get $20-$30 bucks in some cases and only have to fork over $20-$30 for a game that is great.  I also tend to wait until stores like GS have trade in specials where you get an additional 10%-20%.  This is great especially when you already get the extra 10% from having a GS card.

I used to have a system that i thought of as a loan par say i bout Halo when it was new $50 i would beat it get my fil of it and trade it to eb when they would buy it back for $35 so i lost $15 a year and a half later i bought lets say Ninja Gaiden $50 same cycle $35 and i rebuy Halo 9.99 Silent Hill 2 9.99 and KoTOR 9.99....i feel as if i didnt lose out on anymoney but when i moved out on my own i started to notice the loss of funds so i just joined gamefly and now i can do that with four games a month and only lose 20 bucks but not feel like im losing any at all know what im sayin?

I trade in some games.  Especially the ones that are in a series, like COD or especially sports games.  After the next one comes out (or even better, right before), I trade in my older version and use the funds to buy the new one.  But, generally, I don't trade in too many games.

I’m somewhat of a collector, so I keep the majority of my games. The ones I do sell are the ones that have no replay value and didn’t leave that much of an impression upon me. When I do sell a game, I either sell it through ebay or to someone I know. The trade-in prices at game retailers are nothing short of highway robbery. I once had gamestop offer me $1 for some PS2 games, so I  took them to the pawn shop (on the same road) and got $5 each for them.
