And is it actually playable?

Just wondering if it like, chugs a bunch still. Don't know if they've updated the emulator at all...

Anyone playing it?

Dude, that's just the way the game is. It's always had chugy animation and been very buggy.

Well I know on Xbox it was, and that's the way it's going to be. But on 360, it was completely UNPLAYABLE when I tried it last...

So yeah. Wanted to know if it's now more along the lines of the Original Xbox version...

On www.xbox.com they'll show you a list of backwards compatible games playable on the 360.

It is stil the greatest game ever made IMO....

And I got it BC compatible only a few weeks ago and I'm having no problems, it plays the same as on xbox1. So maybe they have updated it, but sometimes the quality is differnt on other 360's. On my 360 KOTOR B/C has sounds glitches, on my friend's 360 it works perfect.

I started to but it's hard to go back to those graphics after Oblivion... especially since the combat in Morrowind sucks so bad. But the emulation's fine, though the loading times are still ridiculous.

Wow, you have to be f***ing kidding me. Have you even tried it? Let alone heard of it?

Oh figures, a post that parallels the intelligence of the user's member name.

I have the GOTY version of Morrowind and have to say it looks ALOT better on the 360 running in BC mode than on the original XBOX probably more or less because of the great GPU in the 360. I have played ~ 10+ hours of Morrowind and have had no problems with it. The load times are a bit faster (not a lot) but still faster. Morrowind is a great game, and almost a steal ~$5at any used game store. I still own quite a few original titles I would like to see released in the next backwards comp. update.

I'mhoping some of our top-down games make the cut:

X-Men Legends 1&2

Baldures Gate- Dark Alliance

Dungeons & Dragons- Heroes

The Bard's Tale

Gauntlet- Dark Legacy

if you have ur TV set to 720p or higher normal xbox games will run very badly with very bad framerate. So u need to set back the resolution of ur tv to a SDTV to make the game run good. I found this out when i was playin conkers bad fur day

I tried playing it (I'm a morrowind noob) and I couldn't really get into it because the combat was kind of crappy, and I went into a cave and got completely raped by bandits. That basically set me off.

I guess it's because I'm so used to Oblivion. If I didn't play Oblivion first, I would probably like it a lot better.
