Only if the story was actually entertaining, unlike the first, and the ending wasn't as lackluster as the first.

I was only excited to get the next gun, the lack of a good story made it an overall bad experience.

I want Borderlands 2 and I haven't even played Borderlands 1.

Me and my friends were discussing this yesterday as we played Borderlands.

We agree it would be nice to see it go MMO. Maybe not a total free-roam, but like a lobby/town with something like an auction house and all. Then when you enter the game with your party it would be only yours. Be nice to see more class diversity or even new classes.

Beserker - Tank, holds agro, has taunt abilities / support dps but not as good as any other class

Hunter - Support Dps, buffer

Siren - pure dps

Soilder - Healer / support dps

By diverse i mean weapons that only certain classes would be able to use. Kinda like cloth, leather, plate, but with guns. Also would like to see full equipable characters. Go ahead and make options to equip in chest, legs, head, shoulders, feet, gloves, rings, ect ect.

As far as story it would be nice to see it expand to say new planets. Also more in-depth story that is not so simple quest driven.

Take pvp to a new level with the class and gear options by putting a stronger emphasis with arena and other events like racing and such.

I'd buy it day one for sure only if they take it back to the way the original game and General Knoxx were..solid rpg with a decent story, humor, and length to them. Not the fail Underdome grind for 8 hours for nothing or Claptrap who's main story and all achievements took me a day to complete.
