Like alan wake, fatal frame, fear, dead space. Not resident evil cuz they are monster/zombie after all.

some of you might take your pick and say which one is scary and not but pretty much all creepy games are scary to me.

The funny thing is, there is not one single movie out there that is scary but games scared me, maybe im playing in it stead of watch it?

I usually play in the dark with head phones. what about you?

The only game that has really scared me would be dead space.. And only the first half, since by the time you get halfway through everything becomes rather predictable..

I made it to chapter four before it stopped being scary. As for me I guess Dead Space as well because nothing else is that scary.

i used to be scared by dead space but i recently actually finished it with only the plasma cutter and ive gotta say it felt better not having to care about different ammo and whatnot. i really really enjoyed it. i didnt really find any of it scary i guess. but the second time you meet the regenerating dude it made my heart beat pretty fast. it was reyt intense

It's very rare for a movie or novel to scare me but I'm a huge wimp when it comes to games. Even bioshock scared the %&$# out of me. I'm currently playing Amnesia which is torture.

Bioshock scared the crap out of me. Ever since then I've tried to avoid creepy/scary games. I'm really intrigued by Alan Wake but the creepiness factor makes it really hard for me. I wanna play it... But I'm scared to.

its a great game, i really enjoyed it and i hate being scared. it isnt scary really tbh, the atmosphere is kinda creepy, but you get used to it. pick it up, you wont regret it. i also recommend dead space if you havent played it. i decided to try it again this week and its now my favourite game

i wouldn't play scary games if they didn't scare me. i love dead space 2 and alan wake. dead space 2 scared the crap out of me left and right and i loved it! alan wake wasn't as scary, but it definitely felt jumpy at times.

To be honest i don't think any game out on the 360 is scary. If they remade Silent Hill 2 on the x360 my opinion would change ;).

No, not at all. But Dead Space gave me that "tension." I haven't been scared by a game in a long time. There are moments where they make me jump a bit.. but that's it.

what makes games scary for me is having to keep watching your back and your controller vibrates when monster hits you in the back. any games like that?

"Alan Wake" was not scary at all. It has plenty of opportunities to scare you but they don't really pan out. It's still a good game. "Dead Space" has been the only game since "Silent Hill 2" to actually scare me. The music, the atmosphere, the sound design, the actual feeling of panic when you run out of bullets. Can't wait for DS2

I was thinking about getting dead space but i heard it just isn't scary at all. I love my horror games but sadly i think the X360 doesn't offer any. This guy has some great things to say about horror games these days.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is probably the only game that made me jump in my seat, especially in Surround Sound.

Oh absolutely. I am the biggest baby when it comes to scary videogames. I got Dead Space for my birthday in May of 2008 and didn't get past the 2nd level until fall of that year because I was too scared. But I'm glad I did, I loved it!

Played Alan Wake this year and it certainly freaked me out too, but not nearly as bad.

Resident Evil series was the only one to scare me. But... I was underage at the time so I doubt it counts for much.

I don't get scared by games that are supposed to be scary. I played the Amnesia demo and quit because I kept getting lost and my glitchy old mouse (now replaced) wouldn't work properly. I also just found it boring, yet people say it's terrifying. I play through Ravenholm on hard mode with only one moment of creepiness (the Fast Zombies jumping roofs).

But then take The Neverhood, a claymation game made fifteen years ago or so. That game freaks the crap out of me for some odd reason I can't put my finger on. I don't get it.

Oh, and I swore at my computer screen when I met the first mutants in System Shock 1. Most terrifying 2D sprites ever. For some reason, as games become more graphically realistic, they get less frightening to me. I think I have a phobia of aliased lines and polygons.
