Does deleting game saves get rid of achievements?

I'm 90% sure that deleting game saves won't but I'm just clarifying.

I have a 20 gig HDD and I'm running low on space (trying to make room for GTA Lost and Damned. - I'm thinking of deleting game saves for games I rented awhile back and will never play again.

you cannot get rid of ahievements even if you wanted to.

well except the offline /online glitch that happens sometimes. but yeah.

go ahead and delete those saves. dont worry about it.
