Does Forza 2 really live up to the hype?

I'm not really a racing fan. I mean, the last racing title that I was truly into was Rad Racer(actually I love Burnout Revenge). But I hear the new Forza is sick. Let me know if it's really THAT good. chainsaw_happy

I to ant a fan of racing games, but for some reason I decided to buy the game. I think its great, its a bit like an RPG and I love RPGs. Like you would build up a character in a RPG game, you do the same but with a car.

I still reckon Dirts going to rock, and you cant compare the two games cos there different on many levels.

I've played every racing game that has ever existed (PGR, Gran Turismo, Ridge Racer, Mario Kart (lol), Need for Speed, Forza, Juiced, etc) and I can honestly say that this game is the best I have played so far on a console. I mean I love the arcade style games like NFS and so on, but when it comes to realism, I get really picky. Gran Turismo 4 was fantastic, and difficult and took forever. It was missing a few key ingredients however, and Forza got them down, albeit not perfect. However, it is a vast improvement. And it also caters to all levels of players, so the arcade players can learn how to play without the aids. Go rent or buy it, it's awesome!mecheye

Its awesome, and the online component adds a ton to it. Its defenitly the best racing sim right now
