Does Oblivion end after the main storyline is completed?

Can you continue to get new quests and explore the world after you complete the main quest in ESIV: Oblivion?

yes... finishing the main quest doesn't end the game.

Some new quests open up after finishing the main quest. I played 400 hours before hitting the rest of the main quest, when I had finished there was still more to do. I love it.

Doesnt matter which option you take at the end. If you have broken steel, the game doesnt end. Have you played it with broken steel?johnny41252

He's right. If you have Broken Steel, Fallout 3 doesn't end. And Oblivion never ends. You can keep wandering the land all you want.
