Doesn't this just piss you off?

So... you get on Live, put in your favorite multiplayer game, go into matchmaking and people always have GT's that are full of X's, stupidly placed capital letters, and a whole bunch of 1's,3's, and 4's taking their turn as I's,E's, and A's. And they are usually all 10-12 year-olds that think they are cool for creating a GT that has such things. I don't know what all of you think but I just can't stand it. What do you do when you see a name like XxH4LoSn1P3RxX ?

When I see the "XX"'s and the "Xx"'s dudes, I think to myself "Man, this guy has put way too much time into making that gamertag".

I know, they look like SUCH try-hards. It angers me to no end.

whenever i see something like that, i just use the anger to motivate myself to kick their prepubecent asses and show them how "l33t" they really are. works every time!

Maybe the gamertag system has failed. I find it more annoying that the names that I want are all taken & I have to put x or xX just to get the name I want. You really can't judge people just because they want a certain name that is already taken. I just play the game & enjoy it no matter who I play, if they're good they're good.

My gt- is Jmoak3. The jmoak part is a mix of my name's letters, and the 3 is because I am the 3rd. (Ex- Henry the 8th, but I'm J**** ***K the 3rd)

I watched Arby n the Chief, and I completely relate to the Arbiter and his anti-cock policy. I'm 15, and I don't cuss on xbox live because there are so many more creative ways to show anger or insult others. Why stoop to the 12 year old's level?

Blame the system not the players. They should allow multiples of GTs, it's almost impossible to have a really unique name even in real life. There's a lot of people who have the same names & what differentiates them is their features & who they are.

goes to show what kinda small things people get worked up over. I don't do it no, and kinda think it can be taken way to far.....but you're all over reacting. Its there gamertag.....they'll do what they want about it. Most of them actually ARENT 10 year olds, so get your facts straight before you try to talk crap about them. Nonetheless get over it. What is even worse is that tv shows are starting to do it too. I was watching Cartoon Network(Yes i love cartoons) and they spelled decoded using that ****. It was spelled d3c0ded. I think it is a very generic way to spell the name and completely takes away any originality. Find a great name and it is used? Think of another it just looks like you took that persons name..

I honestly don't care. I think it looks sloppy, and whenever I see a simple GT like Ta11on, or RoundMan I immediatley think that player is more mature and if not better, funner to play with.

It is very annoying to see this. They could at least come up with something original, stands for something, or is about them. Instead of putting random letters and numbers to make names that are already used. It is sooooo stupid.

Ha, what's even worse is when they do it wrong, e.g. I played with some guy called xXChipyMunkxX. Not only is this spelt incorrectly, but if you're going to put the 'X's' in at least do it right...

Plus this guy was awful at the game and lagged so bad. Makes you wonder why such people even exist.
