Duke Nukem Forever: Most Epic Game Ever or just a long wait for a crappy game?

Im hoping for good things , But this game has went through hell im just hoping it doesnt play like hell .

duke nukem is a classic franchise that deserves a new look and feel. I trust gearbox they made borderlands i believe and I love that game.

I think it will be like the Chinese Democracy, It will be eventually released however due to the mass exception of this game being the second coming of God the game will greatly disapoint many and Duke Nukem will then be turned into a yearly released game till the evental slow death to a beloved game character.

To be honest I really hope it doesn't go that way (Too many of my mates are Duke Nukem fans), however the one thing I have a gut feeling is that it wont live up to 13 years or so worth of hype. Hell if I am wrong I will hold both hands up and admit it.

I dont really think there has been 13 years of "hype" I would say the hype started at PAX...

lol at the first 2 pages of this thread.. about time havent really been anticipating it i was 10 years ago when i saw a gameplay clip graphics looked insane lol every now and then i still think about this game so glad its finally being released.. ill buy it and if its crapill return it..

It's not cancelled i was watching the pax 2010 coverage by inside gaming and there was a booth for duke nukem and they showed some gameplay and interviewed the devs. they expect the game next year.
