lol this is probably an incredibly stupid question but i was wondering if i could spray dw-40 on my analog sticks. they are getting kinda squeaky and stiff and it makes it really difficult to aim in twitch shooter like bf:bc or mw2. anyone know of any methods to make my analog sticks move smoother without ruining the controller? thanks

I think you mean wd-40 lol. Use it sparingly and it shouldn't hurt them at all. Not sure if it will take care of the squeak though.

Aw man I wanted you to ruin your controller... Kidding! I did not know that, but thanks. Now I know now to use WD-40 on my stuff.

Spray some Windex (Glass Cleaner) on the face of your controller and wipe it off with a paper towel. Put some Windex on a Qtip and wipe it around on the base of the sticks and then wipe that off with the dry side of the Qtip. This works for me, I have been doing this since original Xbox. It works on squeaky or sticky face buttons too.
