Acheivement points are supposed to be for bragging rights, as far as I understand it. Having said that: The only way to display your Gamerscore is to connect to Live!. So really, if you don't have Live!, then you need not worry about acheivements. Unless, of course, you are one of those rare birds that does things for their own personal satisfaction. Even so, a person's Gamerscore means nothing to me.

you forgot project gotham racing those achievments are also pretty hard but aside from that you shouldnt be playing games for achievments points just for the fun of playing a good game.
