I think its fun for a litle while crawling through towns at night infiltrating houses and generally being a vampire and ontop of that you can just speed up he clock until night time again when daylight starts.

It gets old fast and the cure is a pain. If you want to try it, keep a save before you're a vampire that you can go back to when you're finished messing around.

It's great fun... if you need to travel around then just feed off a beggar when they sleep and you're back to the first stage of Vampirism... and you don't regress to the next stage until you sleep again... simple enough for anyone.

thanks for the help i currently am a vampire n like most of you said its good at first but it is really annoying trying to go anywhere especially as i havnt explored much of the map

i have been caught out when enemies are somehow nearby but i cant find or see them and so because of this i cant fast travel and have to try and make it to a place before dieing which when your in the middle of nowhere isnt easy

i am currently doing the cure quest which isnt too bad, apparently theres a reward of 1000 coins at the end?

Being a vampire is great. The advantages it gives you makes it advantageous to be a vampire. Night Eye and Detect Life makes it much easier when searching through caves and dark areas. You can go out during the day as a vampire.

I never liked being a vampire, just more trouble then it is worth. I wish you could become a Werewolf like in Morrowinds bloodmoon expansion. That was fun.

You can just enchant your equipment to give yourself Detect Life and Night Eye etc. Thats what I did and it made being a vampire the most annoying thing I've ever done on any video game.DarrenB900
