ok, so im confused, at like the second to last level the data you were downloading was off the terrorist who attacked the airport, right? Then you own people betrayed you, so then what? Im confused I know in end, we killed that guy but what happened to the terrorist markov or whatever his name was?

markov wasn't captured. markov helps you in the end, but you will probably become enemies again in the third one. Or maybe, because you are WANTED, you will join forces. Back to your question, he wasn't captured, they left it as a loose end.

The level you are referring to is "Loose Ends", this comes from the end of the mission when Shepard (the General) kills you, saying thanks for tying up the loose ends. The data on the computer was that of Makarov's (yes the guy who attacked the airport), it would implement Shepard as the one behind everything. So before Ghost and Roach can react to this, he has them killed. As for Makarov, during the mission "The Enemy of My Enemy", Price makes a deal with Makarov, to clear his name in exchange for Shepards location. And he agrees.

Also I'm hoping that with the way they made Shepard burn your character and Ghost in the ditch that Roach still survived and he is in the next game, because usually war terrorist who don't want their cover blown would kill soldiers execution style instead of burning them (which is uncertain death)...the game has a lot of loose ends that can be taken advantage of in the next game.

As much I hate to say, they are both DEAD. He watched them burn. I love you ghost.
