srry guys but i'm losing my mind cuz i also forgot one more new feature. Vegas 2 will allow players to use bullet penetration similar to that of CoD4... i dont know how i forgot those two things but thats why its always good to re-read stuff.MIB911

first things first the release date is March 2008. yes i said march as in 3 months from now. i know its unexpected but yes it is comin out that quickly.

in Vegas 2 there are alot of outdoor battles. no longer will everything be restricted to casino floors so expect to see alot of sunshine in this game.

the AI and terrorists are much more advanced so ur gonna need to be more tactical and they DO NOT respawn in dumb areas like right behind u in terrorist hunt mode.

the main character is not Logan anymore rather a guy named Bishop. luckily ur two teammates Jung and Michael will still be there. no longer do they mindlessly storm a room rather they "leap-frog" in a tactical manner to insure u dont have to heal them so often.

the storyline actually begins before the 1st Vegas. then it follows the storyline of the first one like a parallel to fill in any missing details u missed. then it continues past the cliff hanger ending of the 1st and adds to it.

Vegas 2 is finally adding in a sprint feature that allows u to run for a short time. UbiSoft promises it will be great for moving from cover to cover like Gears of War.

yea u can wait until the 2nd Vegas comes out now... if u bought the 1st Vegas u'd only play it for a few months then when u get the 2nd Vegas u'd wish u never bought the first. if u absolutely cant wait then i see nothin wrong with it.

i'm actually lookin forward to this new feature. the only flaws i saw in the 1st Vegas were poor graphix and no sprinting... everything else was great.

yes this is all very true... click on some of the sources and u can find that out for urself.

I will end up getting this game because i played the first one alot when it first came out, this new one doesnt look much better or with alot of improvements, would be nice if they made the online look a little better though, thats all id really change from the first.

I am very glad to hear that there are outdoor levels now! cant wait!

yea the only big flaw with the 1st Vegas was the below average visuals. if UbiSoft Montreal and the Rainbow crew put alittle more time into how it looks this time Vegas 2 will be at worst an AMAZING game !!

Thanks for the information, the game so far looks great. Never played the first one but all my friends loved it, the only issue there was in the first one was the graphics, they didn't seem polished enough. The details were incredibly good though. I hope I don't get too confused with the story in Rainbow Six Vegas 2, although from what you state it seems that it starts as a prequel than works its way after Rainbow Six Vegas.

I have a question, why did you HAVE to use a stupid italic SMALL font making it hard to read? Why do you just HAVE to be different by making yourself italics, nevermind putting it small as well?PiNwOrM

haha yea I know it has alot of features but the only way i would consider paying for live is if they had dedicated servers. I think its a joke that they use peer to peer sharing, its the slowest and most unrealiable way to share information between a group of people.

edit-or atleast dedicated servers for online games for the first year it came out and then switch to peer to peer after that

i could argue for or against Xbox Live all day long but i'd rather post about R6 Vegas 2... btw i added some pics of the new guns that have been announced.MIB911

yea lets stay on topic. But im really excited for the game the few thigs i didnt like about the first was no sprinting, ranking system, constomization menu, online maps were not well designed, and the speed of the game. They fixed all of that in the second and i hope it makes it out by march
