extending the distance of the xbox live cord

Yeah the ethernet is way too short and my computer and my tv are only less than 7 feet away from each. I am able to connect to my computer but its kind of a hassle as it gets in the way of the enterance of the room. Is there anyway i can extend its distance? I dont have a wireless network and besides i dont feel like paying 69 dollars for a wireless adapater.

You could just buy a longer ethernet cord, it would be cheaper than a wireless adapter.

Anybody know where i can find one of these? Tried looking on newegg and gamestop but no luck.

just go to like walmart and pick up an ethernet cable. If your console and computer are in the same room you shouldnt need a cable any longer than 15 feet and that should only cost about 15-20 dollars which is way less than an adapter and the connection is better
