Fable 2 and Fallout 3 reviewed by OXM!!!

Fable 2 gets a 9.5/10 and Fallout 3 gets a 10/10, normally I don't trust OXM, but wow, I'm already getting Fable 2, and while I'm not a Fallout fan, I should get Fallout 3 anyways(at least it's not another FPS).

of course ones a 360 exclusive and the other is giving exclusive dlc to the 360.ill wait til ign and gt reviews.of course im not the biggest rpg fan either.

With Dead Space, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, and Call of Duty: World at War all coming out within the next coming weeks, Fallout 3 will have to take a back seat and be purchased later on. It's just too big of a game that I don't won't to rush through it.Lanezy

Could be, but i watched a video review on Playr who praised it a lot, and what they showed seemed pretty good. I think it got an 8.5 or something around there, but then again they dont have tons of credibility either. Probably just a rental for me because im craving a game that will give me some scares.

Set in the distant future, Dead Space revolves around Isaac Clarke, a space engineer who works for the Concordance Extraction Corporation (C.E.C), a company that operates "giant mining ships" throughout the galaxy. His company receives a distress call from the USG Ishimura, a "Planet Cracker" class ship that destroys planets in order to extract valuable ore. Assuming that a mechanical failure is the only problem, Isaac and two other C.E.C employees set out to rendezvous with the Ishimura. However, they discover that the ship has been overrun by Necromorphs, a hostile alien race dependent upon necrotic flesh. Separated from his party, Isaac must survive the Necromorph infestation and battle his way to safety through the Ishimura's various environments.

This sounds like Doom.

actually i believe the review was liable with the reasons i am thinking of but if they dont give these reasons then they are full of BS. It looks REALLY tedious to tell you the truth, and reminds me of a knock off of Resident Evil and doom. I love horror games like those but i aint getting this game and neither is Chuck Norris so you know its bad. Chuck is getting fable 2, fallout 3, gears 2, cod5, the last remenant and coincedently i am getting those exact same games as well so all of you sure do that too.zaqqaz713

For sure. I like to play through all my games thouroughly. How the hell am I supposed to play through 5 games in just as many weeks?

Not to mention October and Novermber being painfully expensive for video games.

It's a shame Fable 2 couldn't come out in early October, because seriously, I think Gears of War 2 will occupy the majority of gaming time for the next few months.

The fact that Fallout 3 scored more than Fable II is just ridiculous. I'm sure the fact that the whole environment is grey and repetitive is what attracted them so much.Quintinius

It is supposed to be bleak, and from what I have seen, it is no more repetitive than Fable. Sounds like you're just a big ol' fanboy (Coming from an officer from The Fable Union).

It's a shame Fable 2 couldn't come out in early October, because seriously, I think Gears of War 2 will occupy the majority of gaming time for the next few months.

OXM giving Fable 2 a "9.5" is just like Nintendo Power giving Mario a "9.5". IN other words, don't take their word for it. They're reviewing their own product, of course their going to give it a high score.imperial_agent

As weak as a score that is, I simply cannot trust OXM for their reviews, especially since IGN gave it a score of 8.7.

I made another topic without seeing this one(my bad TC). I found out about this at the Fable 2 site and everyone is whining about "how can Fallout 3 score higher?" Really looking forward to both games and find it hilarious that people could complain about games getting certain scores they haven't even played yet.

Fallout 3 a 10/10? Wow... thats impressive, being a HUGE fallout 1 and 2 fan, this kind of score for fallout 3 makes me a little less worried about my favorite series of all time :Pkozzy1234

its not turn based...i think you are talking about VATS which allows you to target a specific parts of your opponent...you can only use VATS if you have enough action points,so you cant use it all the time.
