Fable 2 and Fallout 3 reviewed by OXM!!!

its not turn based...i think you are talking about VATS which allows you to target a specific parts of your opponent...you can only use VATS if you have enough action points,so you cant use it all the time.

I made another topic without seeing this one(my bad TC). I found out about this at the Fable 2 site and everyone is whining about "how can Fallout 3 score higher?" Really looking forward to both games and find it hilarious that people could complain about games getting certain scores they haven't even played yet.

IGN gave it an 8.7, while GamePro gave it a 5/5. OXM seems craptastic on their reviews. FNR3... 10/10!

The fact that Fallout 3 scored more than Fable II is just ridiculous. I'm sure the fact that the whole environment is grey and repetitive is what attracted them so much.

There was this hilarious spoof on SomethingAwful recently of the reviews that non-gaming magazines give to games, Game Reviews in Men's Magazines. It makes fun of exactly the same thing you're talking about. :lol:

Wow, I had no idea, after all, I didn't watch any videos and I'm not a Fallout fan at all, I'm going to think twice now.

You're praising the game for its dissimilarity to shooters, when the game in fact borrows heavily from that genre. The gameplay videos remind me of Mass Effect. Maybe when it comes out, it'll have magically transformed into a turn-based Black Isle-sty|e RPG, but I doubt it. It's just odd that you say "not another FPS," when the game screams shooter/RPG hyrbrid.

My bad, I should had paid more attention to the game. It doesn't matter, I like still like FPSs anyways, there's nothing wrong with mixing it with another genre.mitu123

How on earth could a game with no AI get 10/10?? Did you guys see latest exclusive videos on gametrailers? This is oblivion all over again. Enemies just stand there waiting to be killed, never trying to find cover or run when near death. Pathetic. Dvorack

Look, im not trying to get famous. Far from it. And im not hating - i call it voicing my opinion. Im just effing dissapointed that the game that ive been waiting for for nearly 10 years has inferior ai scripts than the original from a decade ago! If anyone has failed - it was Bethsoft.

And dont even get me started on the reviewers - anyone who gives F3 less than 9.5 for whatever reason is clearly suicidal or really loves job hunting.
