Fable 2 or Gears 2?

Well First of all, I'm FPS lover. I've been playing video games since the PS1 came out, then I bought the PS2, Xbox and The Xbox 360. Around 6 years of FPS... But I want to try something new and by watching Fable 2 Videos I was really surprised of that RPG. So if you guys were me, which would you chose? Fable 2 or Gears of war 2? And what can we do when we're playing on xbox live on Fable?

Ps: I've been playing Gears 1 since it came out and I never stopped to play it.

i'd get gears 2 - if you have to choose one game

I love shooters too but I also love me some action rpgs with some realistic elements to it. Gear of War was terribly broken which is why I cant be bothered to pay attention to the 2nd one. Fable was a solid game despite some promises that werent kept (which I can care less about). I rather have a solid game with a few missing promises, than a game with a boring campaign and a broken multiplayer with no variety. Fable 2 hands down.Nocturnal15

I think you've got Fable I and Gears of War backwards. Id go with Fable II (obviously your going to get GOW 2 if you a big shooter fan so stop trying to make us argue about the obvious. Just get a job and get both or at least rent Fable II.)

I dont know i dont know i dont know i dont know. IF i had a job i would totally buy both with no exception but i dont know!

Hopefully when the time comes i'll have the money for both. But if i had to choose one, which is a possibility =(, i'd definitely go with Fable 2. Gears of War 2 looks great, but it looks pretty much the same as Gears 1 just with a few touch ups and such. Fable is definitely the kinda game you could spend ridiculous amounts of hours on.
