Fable 2 will be more of a free roam "do what you want" game. So I feel like this will be a better game. It allows you lots of freedom. Fallout 3 will be good but I think Fable 2 will be a little bit better.

You obviously havent watched the five gameplay vids of Fallout 3 have you? There will be just as much free roaming as fable 2, maybe even more.

Im deffinently getting fallout 3, as I have loved the first two games. Fallout 1 is one of my all time favourites.
Im probably also getting fable 2, but im not sure. Fable 1 was a big dissapointment for me. Felt quiet limited and there was a lot of great features I had been looking forward to that was left out of the final game. But fable 2 does look nice and the multiplayer feature could be a lot of fun.
I think Fable 2 is too childish. Both games will be great, but I prefer the mature theme of Fallout 3. devin360
Lol Fable 2 has the ability to have sex and have kids, kill civilians, get drunk, etc. etc. if thats childish than wtf is Conker!?!?!?!!?!? Anyhow back to the topic....I am reallllly close to canceling my pre-order on Fallout because I dont trust it...not that I dont trust oblivion ive been playing The Elder Scrolls series since way back but its something about Bethesda going into new waters...im sorry its just 100s of hours of gameplay....who said those 100 hours are going to be GOOD gameplay? Okay I can hear the screams of Fallout fans and Bethesda fanboys soooooo *lifts up flame shield* SPARTAAAA!!! My point being lets not judge these games till there out k? Besides the people who say one game is better than the other are fanboys because everyone likes a different type of game and its their choice to like that game not anyone elses :).

who the hell would play a game for 100 hours if they don't like it?
I personally think both will be awesome. I'm skeptical about fallout 3, but i haven't done a ton of research. But I was also skeptical about oblivion, and with so much to do it just made the game so much better. I loved Fable so I'm definitely all Fable 2.
I'm ready to be dissapointed but, even with dissapointment i think it'll be great. Plus imagine if they do deliver all they've promised, it would be such an awesome game! So me, both are great, but Fable 2 ftw.
Fallout 3 for me, no question about it. I think fable 2 looks like a really good game but for some reason i'm not that bothered about it, i'll get it eventually when its cheaper, or for christmas, but i'm really looking forward to fallout 3.
