Lol! I'm kind of in the same boat! I keep finding missions while heading toward other missions so I have barely completed anything! And to make things worse I keep running out of ammo!
lol the first time i played through the game i beat just the main missions mostly with some side quests but this second time around im doing every side quest i can find lol
but on to the topic i cant speak from PERSONAL experience but i saw my friend playing it today and it looked pretty freaking cool and the bonus items you get after finishing it look awesome!!
How do you get to it? I seen somewhere in a interview that Bethseda said it was supposed to be a side quest that automatically pops up and you go to the map marker, and i downloaded it and nothing has happened.

You just have to wander around in the wasteland and eventually you'll recieve a radio transmission that will lead you to it.
