Fallout 3 Review Xbox mag.

ight so propably old news but Official Xbox magazine gave Fallout 3 a 10!!

And usually this magazine is pretty hard core with their reviews.

dont have a link but go to the reviews for this site and it says a 10.

i know i cant wait, i was going to ask this for christmas....but i dont think i can wait that long.

Meh it's x box mag though, they'll over-hype any game for you to get it, but Fallout 3 does look good.N9ne-xx

this mag is pretty relaible and doesnt just try to sell games.....they gave dead space a 6.5, now tell me they are trying to just sell games

I can tell you that dead space is a good game,

and i can also tell you that they should fire there reviewer and hire me. Speaking for the VG peeps. And giving you the best O-pin-e-on

They gave it a 10? That's weird... Oblivion was way better in terms of a RPG game, i still had that on my HDD after like a year. And there's much better shooters to get too. Fallout 3 on the other hand, i think i'll leave that at the bottom of my games. Just too bland and sure the combat mechanics are new and interesting and there proberbly is a good story somewhere in there (i couldn't find it). The radio, while i'm into oldies and some of the songs are quite catchy you'll wanna play your own music, it's just too much hassle to turn the player on and off every time there's a new peice of dialog..

Yeah but the game's also on PS3 and PC. It's not like its Xbox only.

I've heard from a mate who has it, the game is absolutely amazing, however, there is one slight problem he said the game was a bit short. Though im presuming that he went straight though the campaign and little else.

So considering this is the company that made Oblivion i'm pretty sure it will have heeps of extra **** , so i rekon it will be a must buy for rpg fans

I've given this some thought.

For the most part, there is some range between scores.. Some mags might give a game a 7 whereas another might give that same game an 8.5. I almost never see different mags disagree majorly.. like a 9.5 and someone else gives it a 6.

Any respectable gaming mag values its perfect score and usually doesn't give them out on a whim. That said, 1 perfect 10 score completely validates my preorder of the game. I expect some score range, but I seriously doubt another gaming mag or site will give the game a 6 or something. I expect 9-10 score average across the board.

Being a huge fan of Fallout, I really wanted this game to be good. And it looks like I won't be dissappointed.

I've been stuck in the stone age since I didn't know what RPG games are. Did a little research here on gamespot and happened to come across Fallout 3, to mention but a few titles. I was, and still am, blown away. Much like the landscape in the game. Two things that just put the cherry on top is the ability to switch to 3rd person and the time freeze. Some of you all might disagree with the time freeze and I understand. I do think however that 1st person titles should really start offering 3rd person options. I mean most 1st person games are already awesome anyway. Why not share the wealth man. We can't apply capitalism in games too. :)

It's OFFICIAL Xbox Magazine reviewing a game that is a potential system seller - they aren't going to rate it harshly.

Dead Space on the other hand is a Halloween game to sell during "fright night" season. It's not a system seller

why is everything a rip-off of system shock 2 plus i could think of much more it is ripping-off doesnt matter though probably is a good game
