the way i see it is that Fallout 3 offers more fan service, BUT Mass Effect is the more "complete" game, which is why ME >>>>>>>F03

I really liked both games (both are in my Top 5) but I have to give the edge to Fallout 3.

Mass Effect had the better first playthrough but fallout has more replayability.So i'd have to say Fallout

When I walked out of vault 101 into the epic capitol wasteland and heard "I don't want to set the world on fire." coming from GNR I had to change my underwear. Or when i walked into vault 112 and traveled to tranquility lane... Sorry Mass Effect, you're a great game but you can't ever live up to that.

i wanna get fallout 3, i was a fan of 2 mass effect was kinda a let down to me in some ways. it was a pretty good game

Love both games, But I had a more difficult time connecting with FO3's stiff characters, So I give the edge to Mass Effect for it's wonderful characters. Also Mass Effect has some amazing syncronization of music and cinematography making it feel more like a movie and less of a game. ( I guess to some that's bad.)
