Favorite fighting series

Gotta be tekken.

King of Fighters. I actually play this(and many other fighters) for the story... I love all the characters and can't wait for KOF XII is released...

Tekken, because it was the first I ever played AND owned on PS 1 ( Tekken 3, waaay back in 1998 ), and I still think it's totally awesome. Best Character development in a fighting game EVER, best story in a fighting game EVER, and generally speaking, best graphics AND gameplay in a fighting game ever.

Soul Calibur. I loved playing the series at the arcade and I'm still playing the second one. The fourth game is also pretty much the only game I really want this year.bulletsword

For every chronological Tekken release, yes.

Fighting series... my list would go like this:

1. DOA.

2. Street Fighter Alpha.

3. Capcom/Marvel games (starting with X-Men Children of the Atom and all the games that came after).

4. The King of Fighters.

5. Soul Calibur.

6. Guilty Gear.

I don't consider Smash Bros. a traditional fighting game... but yeah for me my list is:

#1 - King of Fighters series

#2 - Mortal Kombat series (excluding 3 and Ultimate)

#3 - Street Fighter Alpha series

#4 - Virtua Fighter

Mortal Kombat. Best fighting series EVER in my opinion.

Never got the whole silly posing, and stupid noises that were so common in most of the Japanese style fighters. The characters looked more like a bunch of ballerinas than hardened bad mother ******* fighters.

And don't even get me started on the stupidity of hot girls that look 12, with the assets of a porn star, in teeny tiny bikinis, trying to kill each other. My kid brother is bad ***.

Anyways, Tekken for me. I've gotten into a few fighters here and there, but Tekken is the only one I've really followed as an entire series. I loved the original MK, Killer Instinct for the 64, the newest Smash Bros, Street Fighter 2... but I followed Tekken through 2, 3, Tag, 4, and 5. I was even a master at Tekken Bowl in Tag :P

Dead or Alive mate, the girls in it look like little china dolls. About as tuff as Cinderella. Surely you've seen the movie with our beloved Holly Vallance in it, and the girl from My Name Is Earl. She's hot, but the characters in the game just look stupid.
