I'm sure this is already a topic but I couldn't find one. Do those of you who like shooters think that FEAR is worth 27bucks. I know it isn't alot of money to some people but right now to me it is. I really want to get Project Origin when it is released. So I figure might as well play the first one. What doya think?
I live way to the north of BFE just past THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE so used stuff is still spendy. I just checked gamestop 26.99, conartists they are. I don't have LIVE so that aspect doesn't really matter. Just need something to play. I only have four games and I beat three of them already. The one I haven't beat is a racing game and I want a new shooter.
Does it have good rag doll effects. DERRRRR I'm gonna go watch some vids of it. Thanks in advance. and thanx already

The gunplay was very boring, I never used the crappy slow mo, and the perspective looked like a camera with a gun attatched to it. Graphics were ok and sound wasn't much at all.
7/10(thats just to be fair, you might actually enjoy it. I would really give it a 6/10)

FEAR is definately worth the money. The slo-mo is second-to-none, and it has some really freaky moments. The multiplayer was good, but it wasn't revolutionary though. I was fun to battle over slo-mo though. :P

Yes, get it. The single player has some of the best gunfights ever, and multiplayer is ordinary but very competent - no lag, good balance etc... And they have an expansion/sequel coming soon so best to get the first one then later get FEAR files.

That depends on the person dude, for example Condemned was not scary to me, not at all, but here in GS is voted as one of the most scary games for the xbox and the 360.
And F.E.A.R. did scare me, so it depends on the player.

F.E.A.R. Is pretty cool but in campaign mode alone it can get mad crazy. like there's achievements which you can't have any upgrade and use no slow mode. Doing this on extreme mode can tons cause problems btween killing an enemy or surving.
