Best Buy ad today has G.R.A.W (free) and a free $20 Gift Card with the purchase of a 360 Pro. I just hope they have enough copies of MLB 2K7 in the store when I pick this up at the end of next week to use towards this game. I am pretty pumped.  If you are interested in getting a 360 this looks to be the best deal out there right now.

If anything I think microsoft will drop $50 off the price tag of a core system to compete with the WII. anyone with a brain would understand it is not necessary to make a drop on the pro since the PS3 has come out of the blocks with a pulled hamstring.

Then people would just buy a core, hard-drive, and an extra controller for the same price as the Pro. They'd have to cut both at the same time if they want them both to keep selling.

Well not everyone is as well versed as most of us are when it comes to games and systems.  They simply see the price tag (at least most adults that are buying them for their kids). People want to feel like they are getting a deal including myself. So when they see something now being offered for less than the original price they jump on possibly not thinking of the necessary items they will need to purchase with their system as time goes on. Some may prefer to start simply with a memory card in lieu of a harddrive etc....The kicker is in my opinion it is better to offer a game or games with a system and keep the price where it is at. reason being is the how successful the Wii has been due to its playability "out of the box" with Wii sports.  People are more simple minded than most people that are on the forums.
