Do they have to make the stupidest commercials for music games? Yeah, lets play our fake instruments in front of a giant cheering crowd cause they know how cool we really look! Yeahhhhhh!!!!!

That crap is awful, but the game pretty much is Rock band plus cymbals on the drums, Wow I am soooo impressed with all their additions.

The only thing that will get me to buy just the game disc of Guitar Hero 4 is how good the track list is, so they can try and sell me on everything else but I don't really care about it.

I dont care about the drums and the mic, I'll just go play rock band! I'd rather pay my $90, get my new game and Guitar. Then pay like $160 for Rock Band 2 !? Why why why did they have to do this !? :( Now, I'm liking the look of the drums. But Guitar Hero doesnt need this stuff.

I think drums are dumb, but in reality these are better than the rock band drums, because they are pressure sensitive and have symbols or whatever those things are called. Pressure sensative as in you can tap or wail on them and it can tell the difference, unlike that of rock band.

Either way, i don't have any room in pmy place to hide something liek that, so i won't be getting it.

NOO! Why put drums in and a mic its like rock band....i dont mind that they are copying rock band with the intuments and stuff but...ROCK BAND WAS EASY ON THE GUITAR......and i play expert...

I hope they spend more time on the guitar part and make it hard and challeneging than making a nice fun party game anyone can pick up and play...

All i want from GH4 is more songs, more DLC and make it challenging like TTFAF.

yeah yeah ik its guitar hero and now theyre doing drums to be like rock band but frankly i dont care. I am getting this game regardless because I love the guitar hero games and rock band. i cant wait for this to come out to have some more fun with my brothers and friendsjuicenpancakes

Wow what a waste, I like GH 2 and 3 alot but seriously, it really is called Guitar Hero and the drums just look riddiculous.... Sorry folks but they don't look anymore realistic, because electronic drum kits don't have a huge fake bass drum they have a little pad. Song creation will blow intensley, i'm sorry but you can't create a decent song with a little plastics guitar five buttons. Hopefully it will at least have a good setlist. And even though the pressure sensitive drums are cool, thats just going to jack up the price another 40 bucks or so.

I love guitar Hero and i love Rockband. But i like Rockband more because of 2 things. The drums and the DLC. Being able to play any song you want with a different instrument makes the game always fresh to me. It never gets old. And the DLC for Rockband cant be touched. Both of these issues seem to have a solution with GH4 and im sure ill enjoy it 10Xs more than GH3 because of it.DZBricktop

finally someone with some sense.....everyone seems to have this "more is less" mentality about GH4

since theyr trying to add all this extra junk in there to make a "band experience" more real, they should at the very least add an extra button to the guitar. the drums look pretty "real" for fake drums, so they should add an extra button for the six strings of a guitar. and make a 4 buttoned base. hmmm......then i woke upCommando195

I'll buy drums at a later date though. Don't know why everyone is so hostile.. everything these days is accused of copying something else. "Ohhh gta4 is totally copying Gears because now you can take cover!!" Just go enjoy another game if you're so adamant about ruining people's fun.

looks awesome to me, especially after just now glancing over at my rock band drums, cant wait to play it with a big group of people, and really who cares about the name, the name Guitar Hero is known, it sells, no need to change it.....its kinda like if someone was to complain about the title Final Fantasy 2-13.....FINAL FANTASY 2!!! And if for some reason this game has a crappy setlist, there will be tons of user-generated content to play.:D

Saw trailer for Rockband on TV last night, even my MOM was impressed!

If you think that its a rip-off - dont buy it and stick to Rock Band, end of story.

If you dont want to pay for set - dont! Buy a game only and play with a guitar only (I bet most of you have a GH3 or GH2 guitar)

I mean comeon. Everyone knows that if they did this, they would not think about the guitar any more and end up making silly crappy songs on expert that really only match the hard standard like on rockband.

i already have rock band with 157 songs so far, and next week the cars album comes out, seriously guitar hero 4 is nothing without DLC, i play rock band all the time cause of the new songs that come out, ive played guitar hero 3 for a month same songs and kinda got boring, have you guys compared the sound from gh3 to rock band? rock band is so much better, also those saying rock band is too easy, well they make the notes so it goes with the song, gh3 is off, and they want to make the songs beatable not impossible. they even updated rock band once, to lower the difficulty on some of the ones some time ago.

anyway, DLC is where its at, i rather have a game with library of music to play, than get gh4 with like 50-70 songs all the time, and not everyone i play with knows how to play the game, so even is rock band is a bit easier its a big plus for those of us who have family over playing.
