First images of Call of Duty 5

Sucks to hear its going back to WW2. Weapons aren't as fun or cool. Was hoping the next game would be like the end of COD4 in the plane. more modern stuff. Sucks Treyarch are developing it too. I didn't care for COD3 and the online play there wasn't that great. Dont like hearing about vehicle either. COD works well without vehicles, if I want vehicles I will play Battlefield bad company or something. This was pretty lousy news. I cant believe they are going back to world war 2. Cant they come up with some pretty imaginative missions like there were in COD4? That game had some great single player missions.

Disappointing news...............:( and if I wanted to play a ww shooter this fall, I will play Brothers in Arms.

CoD3 was developed in 11 months, CoD"5" has 2 years development time .... least you can do is educate yourself by reading the article or STFU till the game is out.

after COD4 I would of bought COD5 right away, but after COD3 I am gonna wait on reviews, and probably going to pass. WW2 doesnt look interesting, Same weapons and Treyarch isnt a awful developer but very blah and average developer. I cant believe it even after the amazing COD4, I am probably going to pass on COD5. It sucks so much that after the awesome setting of modern day and very cool missions they are going back to WW2 and probably your average ww2 shooter. a way to f*** up a series that really hit its stride Activision!

How can you be sick of WW2? There's been barely any WW2 games this gen compared to all of the sci fi shooters.

all there games that Treyarch has developed have been lousy or very average. All there COD games they developed werent that good.

I'm glad its going back to ww2. Modern warfare was a great game but that in my opinion is because infinty ward made it and those guys know what they are doing. It wasnt a great game because it was set in modern day and I kinda wish it wasnt.

After seeing COD3 for the first time I was oooooo ahhhh...then I played it and went to oooooo crap...

After that let down I had with COD3...I will rent COD5 first...

Well 2 and 3 were rated teen...4 was rated M...so maybe 5 will have some grit in it...

Well I thought COD3 had some fantastic mutliplayer, but also had some TERRIBLE singleplayer.

Im hoping they can actually make a fun singleplayer game, as im already sure they will make the online good, i just really hated cod3 singleplayer, online was fun though! The map design was alot better then cod4, so much bigger and just overall better maps. Also if that coop campaign gets put into this game like ive heard, that could be ALOT of fun with a friend.

i agree, theres many other wars they could be pick such as vietnam, cold war(not much action lol), WWI, civil war (would be goriest game ever, especially with a bayonet kill), desert storm(more of air combat tho), and possably an iraq/afganastan war game? it wouild just be nice to see some other war games other than WWII and the few Vietnam games that came out on the xbox 1.

COD3 did look great..but the gameplay is what I was disappointed in..

I feel the same road is about start..COD5 pic's surface and the hype begins..then when you go to play the game it feels shallow..

That is my fear..it happened with COD3 and I am now reserved when Treyarch builds a COD game..

I am not retarded or blind..I am a consumer that will not make the same mistake twice..When you get a little older I am sure you will see what I am talking about.
