My first three Xbox 360 games made me know I made a mistake, Gears of war , Forza 2 and Halo 3. All three single player wise were such piles of junk it was unbelievable. I fell right into the hype trap, Halo I fell into easily since I loved playing Halo 2. Gears of war 2 was given so much credit so I naturally expected alot from it, Forza 2 I heard was more realisitic then Gran Turismo so it became like a dream.
Halo 3 was the same and single player wise it was the worst game I had ever played, multiplayer was quite good but also disappointing. Gears of war was just an all round $60 trash pile with little more use then scraping dirt in the crack on the floorboard. Forza 3 was more realisitic with improved visuals but then I realised the one thing that had seriously let it down - small number of cars and small variety of race events.
Few months later a freind gave me Gears of war 2 to try, at first I was skeptical thinking "Not that again" and then I gave horde mode a try and became instantly addicted.
