I never play online, so I'm only concerned with the single player "Campaign," or whatever the game calls it. I like the sound of the VT3 controls better, but I'm worried about how much I'd like the campaign since the review makes it sound like there are an extremely limited # of computer-controlled players. I'm worried that would get repetitive and boring.

Any thoughts, especially from those who've played both? Though I'm interested in what anyone who's played just one of them has to say too.

Well if you want like an arcade style of game then get Virtua Tennis 3 Top Spin 3 is alittle more complicated, I like Virtua Tennis 3 more imo but their both pretty good, go get the demos and see which one you like more

Yeah, it pretty much comes down to if you want a sim or arcadey experience. Top Spin 3 is very realistic you actually have to be in postition to hit the ball. But single player wise there is not a whole lot of difference, I think TS3 may last you a little longer than VT but it doesn't have any fun mini-games that VT has, it's just you playing tournaments.
