I love Left 4 Dead. I don't love Left 4 Dead when I get matched up with little kids and complete morons that suck as it makes for a very frustrating experience. Such is the curse of cooperative shooters. This has become increasingly problematic as I've begun playing on expert. So, if any of you play L4D and are halfway decent at it send a friend request my way my gamertag is NapalmBrain420 .
I play L4D as well, but only play with my group. We've got a good 4 man group and we play a few times each week just trying to clear the stages on expert mode. Communication and tactics are really key and it takes a solid 4 to pull things off right. Goodluck with finding other peeps dude.
Most of the Team Fortress clan community plays Left 4 Dead, so I was foruntate to have a pre-existing group with which to play the game. From the very beginnning, Left 4 Dead struck me as a game that would be a nightmare to play with random people. The friendly fire alone would kill the experience, especially on Expert.

Thank you morning revival, for your overly prolific post. Anyway, having played this game quite a bit, I actually don't mind one inexperienced person on the team. At least for anything other than expert. Some of the best times I've had on the easier difficulties were with a group of complete strangers. In expert, that all falls apart. But having one person who sucks can make it realistic, in a weird sort of way. Why? Because it'd be just my luck that on the eve of a zombie apocalypse, i'd find myself stuck with at least one person who's never seen, felt or heard gunfire in their lifetime.
I'd rather have a bot than a bad player. I find having one bot for the first four levels is rather useful, as he can shoot regular infected and Hunters off of you without friendly fire. They suck with Boomers, but Boomers aren't too hard to hunt down yourself. The bots are helpless against Tanks, though. I'd rather have four real people for the finale.
Left 4 Dead is one of, if not the worst game Ive ever played.

Those "XX game sucks" threads are annoying enough, but coming to someone else's thread, who's justlooking for friends to play the game, and telling them the game sucks? That's just rude.
People being idiots on that game is the reason I only played it for a few days. I'm a Zombie movie fanatic so it really hurt to have to give something up with so much promise just because way to many people on live are Idiots or complete A-Holes.
